Casie Fontenot
Owner/Director of In Motion Dance Company

Mrs Casie has been a competitive choreographer on the Ms Gulf Coast for over a decade. Her studies range from years as a competitive dancer, majoring in dance performance and choreography, collegiate dance team, international training, and  choreography & performances in several professional shows. She has shared her passion for dance along the Ms Gulf Coast as an instructor and traveling choreographer leading many of her students to overalls, nationals, choreography awards, scholarships, collegiate teams and the pursuit of dance themselves. She founded In Motion Dance Company in 2020 to create a space of technical training, expression and artistry. She provides a unique atmosphere unlike any other with the tools that dancers need to succeed. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion of dance with her students.

Paige Cucurullo 

Paige has been dancing since the age of two. Throughout her journey of dance, she was a part of competitive dance teams that traveled to several different competitions and have won numerous awards. For the past five years, she has assisted with a variety of classes including creative movement, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, acro, and ballet. For the past two years, she has taught contemporary, ballet, and acro classes as well as assisting and subbing other styles. She is currently halfway through getting her degree in Dance Education at The University of Southern Mississippi. She hopes to share the joys of dance with her students and continue growing in her love, knowledge, and passion for dance.

Sofie Biglane 

At quite an early age, Sophie began her dance journey at a mommy and me dance class. Right from the start she knew her passion was in the art of dance. She has trained in various dance styles but her primary focus is classical ballet and pointe technique. With a background in Vaganova, Cecchetti, and Balanchine techniques, she hopes to provide a diverse ballet curriculum for her students. Throughout the course of her training at Oxford Ballet School, Laurel Ballet Academy, South Mississippi Ballet Theatre and The Rock School for dance education, she stayed proactive during her summers by attending dance intensives with American Ballet Theatre (AL), Joffrey Ballet School (NYC), Ecole de Danse (France), and also competing in dance competitions such a Youth America Grand Prix and Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition. She completed her academic and dance studies at The University of Alabama where she earned a bachelors’ degree in Hospitality Management. Her goal is to provide students with the resources to develop with full confidence in their dance abilities. Any opportunity to teach, grow and inspire technique and creativity in young minds through the art of dance makes her overjoyed for the journey ahead!

Launa Craig

Launa Craig started her dance training at Ballet Theater School under Cheryl Black. She performed in Ballet Theater South’s performance of “The Nutcracker” for twelve years. She was also coached periodically by Henry Danton from the Royal Ballet. She excepted into and attended summer intensives with Joffrey Ballet New York, Orlando Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and Ballet 5:8 where she was able to train under a variety of instructors. She graduated from Belhaven University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2024. Her training at Belhaven included studying under instructors such as Laura Morton from Milwaukee Ballet, Ravenna Tucker Wagnon from The Royal Ballet, and Samantha Shelton from American Ballet Theater. She has worked with choreographers such as Steve Rooks from Martha Graham dance company and Mia Whitehead from Ballet San Antonio. Her performance experience includes roles in productions such as Myrtha in "Gisele", "Symphony in C", “Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Alaskan Rag” in “Elite Syncopations”.  During her time in college she also performed at football and basketball games with Belhaven University’s Dance Team. Launa now is passionate about sharing her love for dance and has experience teaching students from a variety of different ages and backgrounds. Launa continues to explore new avenues of expression and creativity through freelance work as dancer, choreographer, and dance educator.
